SolutionYou're installing from CD/DVD?
Where is it mounted? it appears to need to be at /sapcd?
permissions on the mount pt?
can you locate the missing file on CD/DVD manually?
do the names look 'funny' (i.e. xxx;1) or similar?

Re: HPUX 11iv3 - iaextract.c:417 error - installing SAP
There are some parameters required before installation.
Please read the Pre-installation, insatallationa and Post installation Documents.
There are several thinks to take keep in mind.
1. you have to define Java_home
(when you type java -version then it sjould be show java version.
2. File system should be according to SAP Documents.
3. File should be support large files mean you have to ebable this option when you are creating file system - This option is there when we are creating File System- you have to clik on enable.
Some more parameters may be there.
Then you have to try install SAP.
In middle system will ask for Oracle, That time you have to install Oracle from another machine remotely(for that you can use XManager etc).

Re: HPUX 11iv3 - iaextract.c:417 error - installing SAP
I have good news.
The problem is solved.
Some of the SAP files were corrupt!
It was possible beacause when copied those files from Windows to the HPUX server using
an application called FileZilla, something was wrong.
I tried using the original DVROM disk directly mounted in the Integrity Server an
the installation ran correctly.
Best Regards and thanks to all.
