Health & Wellness drivers for ML370
The fan is at high speed and i want to slow it down. When I had Win2k on the server it was handled by the compaq tools that were loaded.
How can I do this with Linux?
Thanks

Re: Health & Wellness drivers for ML370
Fans auto switch their speed.
If you have normal env they will slow down.
I'm not sure about linux driver, but you can try HPUX site with word SIM and Insite Manager.
Also try this link

Re: Health & Wellness drivers for ML370
Do you know if that is correct?
I know that when I had Win2k on this server I was able to load up the Compq/HP Rompaq and it slowed the fan down.
Thanks

Re: Health & Wellness drivers for ML370
Do you think it will work on RH 9.0? If not I will have to drop it back to 8.0.

Re: Health & Wellness drivers for ML370
The package was installed successfully but the fan is still loud.
Do I just need to reboot the server?
