Help needed by a newbie on HP-UX

Hi,

I'm a newbie on HP-UX and I need a guide for getting started with it. I don't know Unix or Linux. Where do I start?

I've looked over the HP-UX Reference Manuals and the HP-UX 11.x Operating Systems and I got dissapointed.

Well, I suggest you get a beginners book about Unix/Linux.  You need some sort of fundamental overview to Unix/Linux.  Google is a great friend and offers this among many others

You have come to the right place. As you begin to try things in your book, you should be able to post specific questions to these forums.

Always include the OS and patch level, the model of the system. Also include any error messages you received and what you did to make those error messages happen.
