How To Increase Your Network's Resistance to Denial of Service Attacks

Hello All,

Microsoft has released a document discussing how to lower a network's
vulnerability to Denial of Service (DoS) and Distributed Denial of Service
(DDoS) attacks such as the ones that have been launched over the past few
weeks.

There are a list of strategies to help prevent such attacks, suggested registry
settings to help increase the resistance of the NT and Windows 2000 network
stack, and some links and references to other websites.

If you are running an NT or Windows 2000 based network, please review these
