How to FDISK2

I remember calling HP Support to help me with my computer freezing up on
"Windows is shutting down" and the guy I talked to said is was incompatible
software that caused it. We went through recovery/reformat with the disc that
came with my HP Pavillion 6350 and went through a lot of steps, which fixed the
problem. A about a month ago, my computer repeatedly displayed "Fatal
Exception" when I attempted to perform Scandisc or Defrag my c drive. I tried
to use the recovry/reformat disc by myself and could no longer boot windows
after 2 attempts. I sent my PC to Circuit City for repairs this time.
Now Windows constantly shuts down to the same blue " Fatal Exception" screen
when I try to scandisc...the response from Mr. Crone on how to perform FDISK
does not sound like how I did it before...

Hi,
Once you reset your computer to factory defaults, make a list of all software you've install, and check these software for known bugs. Often, poor memory management will cause these error. Even upgrading your RAM could solve this one.

Re: How to FDISK2

Fdisk is basically used to delete you partitions and reformat your hard disk so unless you know what you are doing be careful.

On the other hand I would Fdisk it :-)
Install a fresh copy of windows, then install my software one by one with the latest releases first and observer to see if you can pinpoint what is causing this.
Minimum effort maximum output!
