How to configure RS 232-c Full modem pad in MDP Port
Hi,
We are having HP9000/829/K410 Server with HP-UX 10.20 Installed. We are planning to do LOOPBACK Test in these Server. So, we planned to do the test using MDP Port.
We are having one RS232-c full modem pad with 8 Port (0-7).We connected this RS 232 modem pad in the MDP Port and the device file created is /dev/ttyd0p4.
We connected RJ45 jack with CAT5 cable for the LOOPBACK Test, in port number 1 and 4.
Now, any of you can please guide me how to assure the loopback connected is it right method or Any other url to configure MDP port using RS 232 Port or any other document to configure RS 232 Full Model Pad.
If you need any other clarification, Please get back me.
Thanks & Regards
-Balaji
