How to configure sendmail for mailing list usage.
How can I configure sendmail so that only certain users can use an alias for a mailing list? For example, if the alias is "users@test.com" how do I configure sendmail so that only "bob@junk.com" and "tim@stuff.com" can send email to this "users" address? Email from all other users that attempt to send to this address should be rejected. Thanks.

Re: How to configure sendmail for mailing list usage.
You should fetch the package called 'majordomo' and install it. Then you can setup a mailing list of one or more recipients. In the configuration, you can specify the posting restrictions for that list (ie, open, closed, restricted to a certain list of email addresses).
I'm pretty sure sendmail by itself won't do mailing lists.
Good Luck,
Ken :)

Re: How to configure sendmail for mailing list usage.
This is correct. Sendmail by itself will not do lists. And Majordomo is one of the more popular packages for adding this function.
