How to connect to MySQL database from an Oracle Database

I need to connect to a MySQL Database on a RedHar 6.2 server to get Data for an Oracle 8 database on a HPUX 11.0 server.
I know how to link 2 Oracle database and all the SQL stuff.
What I do not know is how to connect to the MySQL server from Unix.
ODBC works in MS Windows so I know it could be done.
Can you Help me get connected from Unix/Oracle to Linux/MySQL?
Marty
The only thing that always remain the same are the changes.

You might try the www.mysql.com site. They have a unix odbc driver that might work for you.

Please review the following Oracle Metalink note, it has good information on how to do this.
