How to monitor disks of MSA2324

Hi,

I want to monitor the disks of MSA2324. Can i do as similar to internal disks or I need to do something different? The MSA is attached to HP-UX rx2660 with 11.23.

Re: How to monitor disks of MSA2324

Some more information, when I am going to add monitor I can see "/storage/events/disk_arrays/MSA1000" in the list, but not MSA2324.
Is that mean my software is old? If I need to upgrade the software then what patch i need to apply?

I think that you have posted this in the wrong forum. This is the OpenVMS forum. You are more likely to get responses in the HP-UX forum.

This MSA can send mails and SNMP traps, you can monitor it using Insight RS and HP SIM.

Hope this helps!

I have used UI of MSA to configure SNMP traps and able to capture those with wireshark.
What is this Insight RS and HP SIM?

Insight remote support and System Insight Manager are monitoring tools from HP.

Hope this helps!
