How to mount USB pen on aHP Integrity

Hi,
I'd like to mount a USB pen on a HP-UX Integrity RX2660 Itanium server.

ioscan -fnC disk shows one line:

disk 5 255/1/0.1.0 sdisk CLAIMED DEVICE KingstonDataTraveler

thanks.

Juan.

Since you did not mention your hpux version, it is hard to tell if USB is supported under your OS level, this document might get you started:

Shalom Juan,

Though ioscan shows the device it is not supported and most likely you will not be able to use it.

You might try mounting it on a Linux system.
fdisk -l # get device
mount -t vfat

Most USB devices like this use the vfat file system, which is a file system which HP-UX does not understand.

There may be a way of supporting VFAT but that is no guarantee that HP-UX systems will afterwards be able to read it.
