Hyperthreading under Oacle
I'm looking for some white-paper or documents, etc.
In cases 4 cores/one-cpu, If hyperthreading is enabled, hp-ux kernel recognizes 8 cores logically. In this case, Oracle need 7 real-time daemon threads.
Is it possible configuration?

Yes -- Hyperthreading CPUs with Oracle is fully supported. And you can even get performance gains of anywhere between 15 to 30 percent. And it can even be done on the fly via the kernel param lcpu_attr.
