IPSec

Hi all,
I`m tring to establish an IPSec Tunnel between an HP-UX ( HP-UX IPSec ) and a Windows2000 server but it don`t work.

I don`t find any documentation with this scenario ( HP-UX and W2K or Windows XP).

There are no firewalls between the servers, they are in the same VLAN.

First of all, I installed and configured an IPSec tunnel between 2 HP-UX server and everithing worked fine, but I tested it with a HP-UX server and a Windows 2000 server and .... problems, problems, problems,...


Any experience on similar situations will be welcome ...

What are the specific issues/errors you're encountering?
You do have the route configured, right?
(I know... I know... but I always ask anyway)

It may help to get your friendly network admin involved,
to sniff the traffic and see where the problem lies.
(Or you can always do that yourself with ethereal or whatnot)

Hi Chris,
when I disable the IPSec Policies, the conectivity works fine.

I think it could be a wrong negotiation between the servers.

On the HP-UX IPSec docs there are an example with HP-UX and Linux, but nothing about Windows.

My next test is to establish a tunnel beteween 2 Windows 2000.
