Hi,

I am new to Linux, I just installed RedHat on my system and the Icons are so tiny that I could barely see. Could someone help me to make them bigger.

Thank you.

Re: Icon

How about changing the X-Windows resolution...you probably have it set too high, i.e. 1280x1024. Change it to something more reasonable like 1024x768. True, you will lose some deskspace but at least you'll be able to see the icons on your desktop. You should be able to change the resolution using either xf85config, Xconfigurator or X with the -configure option. Alternatively, you could try editing /etc/X11/XF86Config by hand...but since you're new to RedHat, I wouldn't recommend this.

Re: Icon

Hi,

Right click on the bottom panel ('start' bar :) ). Go to Panel -> Properties -> Size and select there the size of the icons on the bottom panel. I supose you have tiny or ultra tiny already set.
