If HFS is HP-UX's version of UFS, does this mean the UFS fs type doesn't exist on HP-UX or...?

From what I gather, HFS is basically the HP equivalent of UFS in other Unix OSes.  If this is correct, does that mean UFS doesn't exist at all on HP-UX?  Sorry if this is an obvious question.

There is no HP-supplied UFS. HFS has been deprecated for more than a decade. It's only use is for PARISC hardware where the boot ROMs require the simpler layout of HFS to find the vmunix kernel. VxFS is the standard HP-UX filesystem.
