Re: Install Tape Under Linux

Hi

I have some questions.

Which scsi card to use when you connect 24e?
On board scsi ? or SCSI card in PCI Slots?

Have you checked if your SCSI firmware detect the 24E when you boot up the LP1000r?

Can you see the devices using #dmesg or #cat /proc/scsi/scsi?

And, how about the driver?
st (scsi tape) is either module or in your kernel?

Good luck
