Installing Linux Debian on Proliant ML 310 G3
During installation the process stops because in unable to find hard disk, probably because drivers are missing.
Where can I find drivers or better an installation CD of Debian Sarge including drivers for Proliant ?
If anyone has other suggestions I thank you in advance.

Re: Installing Linux Debian on Proliant ML 310 G3
If HP suports the OS, the smartstart cd for the server, should be able to prepare the disk and do an assisted install with the right driver.

Re: Installing Linux Debian on Proliant ML 310 G3
I'd try to install the upcoming Debian release aka etch. It's release was targeted for December 2006, but as always there are delays with Debian releases :) Although etch is not the current 'stable' but 'testing' release of Debian, it still seems much more stable than some other distros with their official releases; have some experience with OpenSUSE 10.1 & 10.2 :-/
You can find daily builds of etch installer from
http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/
but I suggest using the latest release candidate instead (RC1 currently).
