Installing Mandrake on HP LH PRO

Has anybody had luck getting linux to boot off of an AMI megaraid controller? Linux is able to detect it and install on it properly, but LILO goes into fits when booting off of it. The kernel loads (aka, gets the dots..........of unpacking) and then just sits there. I'm thinking its some sorta parameter taht needs to be passed to the kernel at boot time that I'm just not privy to.

Thanks,
Tim Keller.

Re: Installing Mandrake on HP LH PRO

I finally figured it out... I guess for whatever reason the AMI Megaraid controller wasn't the primary scsi device. After changing the BIOS to look on the PCI Bus first for scsi controllers before the onboard it came up on the first shot.

Thanks,
