It sounds like the version of RedHat you are trying to install doesn't include the required cciss driver for the SmartArray controller.
According to RedHat you need to be using Update 7 of RHEL3, or Update 3 of RHEL4.

RedHat releases Updates fairly regularly to support new hardware etc. Support for the E200 SmartArray controller was added in Update 3. You have probably got an earlier version.
You can download the latest version from https://rhn.redhat.com assuming that your entitlements are up to date.
