I would say that you might get more responses by posting into the Microsoft or Vista portion of these forums..

This particular forum is for HPUX.

Re: Installing SQL 2005

IA64bit refers to Itanium processor.
Can you be more specific on what your quad computer model is?

Re: Installing SQL 2005

Unless you are running an Itanium server or workstation, I strongly believe you should use the 64bits sql.

Re: Installing SQL 2005

Based on your answer I would suspect that you do not have and HP Itanium workstation or server. So do not use the IA64bit version.

Re: Installing SQL 2005

Hi,
Please use 64bits sql option.
IA64bit refers to Itanium processor.

***Mean you have to install ""other says just:64bits sql""
Beacause you have 64 bit Vista.

First one is for Itanium based servers.
