Installing Ubuntu Linux on DV6544eo

Hi!

I recently bought a DV6544eo laptop and want to install linux, like Ubuntu.

But I cannot find any drivers! I've been looking for all kinds of drivers, graphic..motherboard...sound and so on.. But I couldn't find any.

Under the laptop is the serial number:

Product: HP Pavillion dv6500
s/n: CNF732426Z
HP service tag: dv6544eo

Help me find all the drivers, plz

did you try to install ubuntu? which error exactly did you see?

The Problem is really the video drivers....
When I've installed Ubuntu... it didn't detect the videocard... Then I used Envy to install the video drivers, everything seemed to work... But it's slowing down (when I use graphics)... Something is really wrong.. I need the right drivers

Where can you get those??

Thanks.. It helped a lot, but unfortunerly I still have problem with the graphic card. I don't think there's problem with the drivers, because Ubuntu actually found and installed it on first boot.

The problem is that it's so slow, and it lags a lot, in the desktop environment and in the firefox browser...

BTW, may be Ububtu 8 which should be released these days, will solve this problem.
