Interpreting syslog error
Hi,
I have a question regarding the HP-UX PA 11.11 operating system since we are running into an issue. In /var/log/syslog/syslog.log, I’m seeing a strange error that says the following…..
Line 5238 in /ux/core/kern/common/io/pat_psm.c:
pat_set_hardfail_enable - status -13
I have no idea how to interpret this error. I was wondering if you could give me any insight on what the problem may be and how to troubleshoot it. The machine locked up once for an unexplained reason, but since then, it has not done anything but report this error in syslog.log.
Could this be something software related? Hardware related?
Thank you so much for your help.
