Is port remapping possible on HP c7000?
I have c7000 BladeSystem platform and BL460c G8 servers with HP FlexFabric 10Gb 2-port 554FLB Adapter. I have no mezz-cards. Cisco Catalysts are in the Interconnect Bays 1 and 2, Virtual Connect Flex Fabrics are in the Interconnect Bays 7 and 8.
Servers mapped to Bay1 and Bay2 (Cisco Catalysts) only:

Port 2 OK Bay 2 Port 9 D8:9D:67:6B:15:4C
How can I remap Port 2 of 554FLB Adapter to Bay 8 Port 9?
I didn't find any information about it.
Is it possible on c7000?

Re: Is port remapping possible on HP c7000?
The connections between the server LOM and mezzanine cards and the interconnect bays are hard wired.
The C7000 User manual, the C7000 quickspec and other documents are showing you how.
This is a full height blade:
half hight blade
So you need to kick out the ciscos or install a mezzanine card in slot 1, the VC modules in bay 3 and 4.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Is port remapping possible on HP c7000?
hello
do you want to achieve this is correct configuration
554FLB is correctly mapped to port 9 (depending on chassis slot) on each interconnect in bay 1 and 2
