Is reports60 builder (rwbld60) mute or what ?
Hello,
I am trying to use rwbld60 reports builder to change one of my reports but I am not able to run this tool correctly.
When I run "rwbld60", it just terminates without saying anything (no error, no trace file as far I know, nothing)... very frustating !
Looking at "Oracle Forms and Reports Developer Installation Guide" dated March 2000 (Part No. A82817-1), I have seen that some environment variables should be set; those variables are:
DISPLAY
LD_LIBRARY_PATH
ORACLE_AUTOREG
ORACLE_HOME
REPORTS60_CLASSPATH
REPORTS60_JNI_LIB
REPORTS60_NO_DUMMY_PRINTER
REPORTS60_CLASSPATH
REPORTS60_TMP
TK60_ICON (I have not found this directory)
TK60_TERMINAL
I am using an HP B2600 workstation running under HP-UX 11.00 OS.
Does anyone know where I can find what's going on ? Is there any error file somewhere that could tell me why rwbld60 does not run properly ?
Thanks for your help.
Best regards.

DISPLAY nees to be checked.
SHLIB_PATH needs to be set.
Your motif version needs to be pretty current.
Is there a core dump?

Re: Is reports60 builder (rwbld60) mute or what ?
hi,
can you try to launch rwrun60 and see if it is working?
if it works, then there may be a problem with the rwbld60 program itself else it will be most probably an environment configuration problem.
let us know
