Is there a utility to convert postscript files to tiff
We have HPUX10.20 on HP9000.
Is there a similar utility for PCL files too.
I have heard there is something like "print to tiff" and even reverse.
If this utility is there, do you have to buy it or is free?
Any help would be great.
thanks
Vinay

Re: Is there a utility to convert postscript files to tiff
I have used a product called Image Alchemy PS for quiote a while and it works well. It will convert almost anything to anything. The price is $595 for HP-UX and $395 for Windows.

Re: Is there a utility to convert postscript files to tiff
I haven't used this, but the site
http://konvertor.free.fr/
has some free tools to do the conversion between different formats.

Re: Is there a utility to convert postscript files to tiff
with ImageMagic you can convert various formats including postscript and tiff.
You can get it from the porting archive at:
http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/X11/Viewers/ImageMagick-5.3.6/
You have to install all the dependencies too.
Withing ImageMagic there is a tool at
/opt/ImageMagic/bin/convert
which will do the things you want.
