J3527A driver

Hello,

I need to install a J3527 4-port E1-T1 card. I need the driver for HP-UX so that ioscan marks it as CLAIMED. What is the driver I need to install in the kernel for this card?

Thanks,
Vince

Re: J3527A driver

This card requires the HP OpenCall SS7 software, see:

Re: J3527A driver

Hello,

Thanks for your prompt answer. So there are no available drivers with which I can test this card?

Re: J3527A driver

I believe not, as these Telecom Signaling Cards (TSC), J3527A are aimed at replacing the current SS7 called SIU. Its objective is to provide new PCI SS7 boards integrated in a TSU (Telecom Signaling Unit) or directly in the system. The TSCs are full length PCI cards providing the SS7 network connectivity to the HP OpenCall SS7 family product. These cards, used only in Telecom Signaling Unit (TSU)(J3401A) provide a connectivity on 4 ports with the following standard: E1 or T1 (J3527A)

If you still need it, you can find:

1. some documentation (such as platform reference guide) at:
http://docs.hp.com/hpux/telecom/index.html

2. SDK, services and product desription for the OpenCall product family:

http://www.hp.com/communications/opencall/index.html

Let me know if you need additional informaation.
