Java 1.5 over NFS

Hi,
I need to have java 1.5 available to my unix w/s with HP-UX 11i.
If I install it on the NFS server instead of locally (space issues) will it work normally or will I have performance or other issues ?

It should work. It may have performance issues if you don't have enough memory to keep it all in the buffer cache.
