Kernel parameter MAXPHYS

I have a series of processes of Oracle that you/they are taking more than that foreseen. In the documentation of the database I have observed that it is recommended to modify the parameter maxphys to optimize the accesses I/O

However, in the documentation of HP only encounter references to the parameter scsi_maxphys. In my systems the connection to disks is carried out by means of fiber cards for that that not you if it is the correct parameter or if he/she should be defined another.

The operating system version that I have is HP-UX 11.0

Thank you ahead of time.
