Keyboard : Timeout - AT Keyboard not present? (ed)

Hi there!

Yesterday we have bought HP Proliant ML110 G4 Server, and actually i didnt change anything in bios, or etc.

I have installed Linux Slackware 11.0 with sata support (cause im using 2 sata hdds).

The problem i encountered, is that i cant type when i see the login screen. After i push several buttons, i hear beep from server. I saw dmesg , and as i already wrote in subject, im encountering this message :
"Keyboard: Timeout - AT Keyboard not present? (ed)"

How can i fix it?

Hello petka,

Do you have another keyboard. Some keyboards get bad and some are picky when used with a server.

I'm assuming that the keyboard was working when you install the OS. What keyboard did you choose when installing the OS? If you choose the wrong one, you would get this error. Hope this helps!!
