LDAP-UX install error PFMERR 10

Trying to get LDAP-UX installed (I am going to use OpenLDAP as the server product--found directions which claim to allow that)...

I don't get that far, though. I only get this far:

2. Windows 2000 Active Directory

NOTE: LDAP-UX defaults with the SFU 3.0 schema when using
Windows 2000 Active Directory.

To accept the default shown in brackets, press the Return key.
Directory Server: [1]: 1


PFMERR 10: Can't obtain the IP Address for horton.vha.med.va.gov ! retcode: -1

This client uses DHCP and isn't in DNS. However, horton.vha.med.va.gov along with just "horton" is in the /etc/hosts file and everything else seems to work fine.

What can I do about this?

Are you using the package from HP? What OS are you using?

I am experiencing exacly the same problem. I have got package downloaded from:
http://h20293.www2.hp.com/cgi-bin/swdepot_parser.cgi/cgi/displayProductInfo.pl?productNumber=J4269AA

The host is in DNS and /etc/hosts as well.

Does anybody has resolved this?
