LINUX BOOT PROCEDURE

Hi! all the Linux gurus

I will be very greatfull to you if you can explain me the booting procedure of Red hat linux .
especially init, sysinit & /etc/rc.d.

Go to the Red Hat Enterprise documentation page and download the "Red Hat Enterprise Linux Reference Guide". You will get there all the answers you need for booting and shutting down the system, among others things.
