Laserjet usage under Linux

Referencing the HP LJ printers 1100 series, how would one go about using this
series of printers with Linux?.

If an external jet direct would make it easier to use this printer, as well as
administrator to it, then maybe this can be used.

Linux works well using postscript, but the 1100 series does not support this.

The question is what laserlet would work well as a SOHO printer under Linux?
This printer would be in an office enviroment with 2-4 users, under light
usage.

Hi,

I do not know much about this, but I would try to use ghostscript with the ljet4 as a output device. This works great for most of HPs laserprinters
