Libraries on HP-UX10.20

Hi All,

Do enybody know whether libx.2 libraries are a part of HP-UX10.20 .
If not - what bundle he should install in order to get those libraries on 10.20.

I've not heard of that exact library name but it sounds as if you may require the X11/Motif Development Kit which is part of the Ansi C Development bundle.

Or perhaps this is part of something like the Athena widget set etc etc ?

Maybe I was not clear enough, so I'll try to explain:
I'm asking about different libraries with the extension of ---> .2
specially I'm interesting in libc.2

I thought you mean't LibXt.# or similar ....

fyi .... there is no libc.2 on 10.20 system

sounds as if your application was linked to specifically
use the HP-UX 11.0 libraries. The '.2' extension indicates HP-UX 11.0.

The '.1' extension corresponds to HP-UX 10.20.

Actially I can c in my 10.20 /usr/lib/libc.2

what /usr/lib/libc.2
/usr/lib/libc.2:
$ PATCH/11.00:PHCO_22314 Sep 30 2000 13:11:34 $

I've just spoken to the UKRC Programing Team ....the only way they can think that usr/lib/libc.2 exists on a 10.20 system is if someone copied it over from an 11.00 system.

I'm certain swinstall would not easily allow you to install an 11.00 patch on a 10.20 system. And as per the release notes libc.2 only comes with the O/S shared libs for 11.00.
