Linux on HP H50 or I70 class server
Hi, just wonder if anyone ever/manage to install the PA-RISC Linux on the old HP H50 or I70 class server.

Hi there.
This is not possible as far as i know.
The bus structure is different.
The old I and H class machines use the so called HP Precision Bus ( HP-PB ).
This bus is not compatible with the PCI local bus structure.
You are bound to HP-UX 10.20 with these machines.

Alexander is right, due to the bus structure it's hpux only, i looked into doing the same thing with my g30 and i50.
