Anyone running this combo of equipment? HP rx7620 with fiber channel cards dual attached to a dual fabric SAN. I had been using the A6795A cards but don't seem to be supported.
Other cards are supported but only from the rx56xx on down in the itanium line.
Thanks for the help. Mike

Solution
I'm not running that equipment but I've specified such equipment for our capital budget. There are Fiber cards available for the entire rx line, though the part number may be different.
You can go to http://www.hp.com and click servers then integrity and get an idea what fiber cards work with Linux.

Re: Linux, rx7620, fiber channel cards supported?
I had been there and that was why I was not finding what I expected. I have been through the support matrix on the fiber cards and noticed that none where supported with Linux on the rx7620. It turns out Linux is not yet supported on the rx76xx and rx86xx series of systems until sometime later this year. I found that our after posting so sorry to waste anyones time and thnx for the reply.

Re: Linux, rx7620, fiber channel cards supported?
Hate to contradict you but his is from the following page:
http://www.hp.com/products1/servers/integrity/mid_range/index.html
rx7620 and rx8620
HP-UX 11i v2
Microsoft Windows Server 2003
Datacenter Edition
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition
Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS 3
OpenVMS (available 2005)
You may have a hardware problem with the Fiber card but I don't think so.
If you click a link in this page for How to buy, you may find a vendor you can talk to about fiber.
http://www.hp.com/products1/servers/integrity/mid_range/rx7620/index.html
I would LOVE to run RH AS 3 on a rx server. Only thing is I'd love to run HP-UX on it more.
