Loading a Program in LIF format

Hello-

I am attempting to load an old 3D Topo program on an older HP 9000/300 workstation. The system is running a rather old version of HP-UX (7.0). I am able to boot the system, and access the floppy drive. However, I am only able to view the contents of the drive by using:

lifls -l /dev/rdsk/2s0

The list of files on the disk are:

AUTOSTART

TOPO3DC__

TOPOHDW.C

TOPOCON.C

I am having trouble identifying if there is a way to "load" or "install" the program into the system? Anay and all assistance is greatly apprecaited. Thank you

Re: Loading a Program in LIF format

Hello

Usually we saw the LIF area in bootble disks, bot sure about old Application floppy disks.

You may try copy the contents of the file using lifcp command see if that helps.

Nots ure, the program/application vendor provided any "How to Document"
