Lock Violation Error
Hi all
I have a IRIX machine on which all users home directories are present.
Earlier I used to map these home dir thru SAMBA onto windows machines and everything worked fine.
But recently we had to reboot our server. Since then the files gets mapped but if i try to access any file , i get the error " lock violation error"
Pls do help me out in this case

Hi Piyush,
Personally I'm not femiliar with Samba, bt what happends if you connect to the home dir's by UNC path or browse to it with networklocations?
If you also get some errors the onderlying problem may not be Samba.
