Re: Looking for help to configure Linux pxe

Shalom,

PXE can not work with Ignite.

As a matter of fact they can't even co-exist on the same subnet.

If the OS you wish to install is HP-UX you need to visit http://www.hp.com/go/IUX and start Ignite configuration which does not use PXE.

Otherwise set up a PXE server.

Re: Looking for help to configure Linux pxe

The current one which i am looking is to use the linux server to load the golden/HP image to the HP server instead of using the HP ignite server. I am receiving IP address from linux dhcpd server. Also the boot starts but it hangs in the following position

lan(0/0/0/0;0)/boot/Rel_B.11.23/WINSTALL

Main Menu: Enter command or menu > boot lan
Interact with IPL (Y, N, or Cancel)?> n
