Mdk 9.0 on Compaq Presario 2500

Hi !

I've seen in this forum that many of you have installed their Mandrake 9.0 on their Compaq Presario 2500. I've tried but it freezes when it installs the firewire driver even if I put the command linux nofirewire. How have you done and resolved this problem ?
