the application media was not delivered with the system. And unfortunately I have no support contract.

I have all but no application media. This must be the problem.

Well - whomever you got the system from, ask for the Application media.

With no support contract - I don't think you can order them online from the "Software Update Manager".

If the system is new - then you should be able to get the media - as it is in the warranty period...

Either talk to HP Licensing or whomever you got the system from.
