Multiple DS entries in sendmail.cf
Simple question; can the sendmail.cf file have multiple DS entries? I am of the opinion that it can't (otherwise sendmail would be sending out extra unnecessary emails to multiple servers), but I can't rule it out; as far as I know, sendmail might be able to automatically select the proper relay host based on some algorithm of which I'm unaware. (The probability of sendmail being smarter than I am is high.)
Anybody got a quick answer? Thanks!!

Re: Multiple DS entries in sendmail.cf
In the event of multiple DS entries, sendmail will use the relay last listed relay in the file.
Remember, wherever you go, there you are...

Re: Multiple DS entries in sendmail.cf
If you want multiple smart relays, focus on DNS for the solution. You specify a single DS and this smart relay resolves to several hosts with same MX value
