NET USE to print legal size in landscape...

Does anyone knows how to use the NET USE command to print in legal size and landscape?
I use NET USE LPT1: \\\ to map the printer to LPT1 successfully but I cannot find any information about how to make it print to legal size and landscape style.
Or is there any other command to print DOS apps in landscape, legal? Thanks to all that reply. All helps appreciated.

While this forum is for HP Unix, I'll take a stab. DOS is a command line tool that has very primitive tools. The concept of landscape (or legal or duplex or 4-pages-per-page, etc) is meaningless to DOS. It was designed to take a ready-to-print file and send it to the printer. DOS applications are totally responsible to format the output to match the printer. That means that a DOS program needs code for hundreds of different printers and most certainly old DOS programs know nothing about modern printers.

It's probably time to retire the DOS program(s) or rewrite the programs to provide the appropriate codes for your printer.
