NT 4.0 - Stop 0A - HPBFDF2.DLL

We have 5 Windows Terminal Servers onsite. All have MS WTS, Citrix Metaframe, running SP6a, all WTS fixes and Metaframe fixes...

Our customer has installed quite a few HP print drivers for various users out in the field. We monitor and support their servers onsite at our location.. On server in particular is receiving frequent blue screen and I believe the problem relates to the "ntdll.dll" that HP loads or a corrupt HPBFDF2.DLL.. I found an article on Microsofts website that states; Since only this one server is having the problem, I need to minimize whatever possibilities I can. This is a Compaq 3000 and we are running the latest SSD, agents as well as support drivers, so I did cover all of the bases prior to contacting HP folks...

If you see an entry similar to the following example, a "phantom" Ntdll.dll file exists and is most likely the cause of the error essages:
HPBFAF2.DLL f08b1000 0 0 0
ntdll.dll f0855000 237568 20480 0 Thu Oct 08 19:37:22 1998
NTDLL.DLL 77f60000 237568 20480 0 Thu Oct 08 19:37:22 1998

How can I stop the "Phantom" ntdll.dll from loading. I know MS's NTDLL.DLL is all uppercase and HP loads the lowercase one.. Any help would be appreciated and if you have any questions, please ask..

Thanks Dave

Re: NT 4.0 - Stop 0A - HPBFDF2.DLL

Am I oversimplifying this or is it just a matter of searching the offending machine for all copies of NTDLL.DLL (either case) and hiding/eliminating the undesirable ones. I must have missed something.
Make a great day!
