Naming conventions in HPUX (non critical, brain teaser stuff..)

Here's what I see at the login prompt

HP-UX noodlehead B.11.00 U 9000/800 (th)

I know what the "U" stands for (unlimited license) what does the "B" stand for and what does the "th" stand for?

Thanks...

Re: Naming conventions in HPUX (non critical, brain teaser stuff..)

Timothy,

B.11.00 is the full revision name of the operating system. The "B" by itself doesn't indicate anything.

The "th" in parentheses is the pts that your login will be associated with. So in this case, when you login you will be logging in to /dev/pts/th.
I think, therefore I am... I think!
