Need bluetooth driver of 6710b in Linux

Installed bluez and have loaded daemons and modules in kernel, but hciconfig gives nothing--no hci0 device.
Need driver,so I need hardware ids,mine lsusb/lspci find nothing.
Can someone at least write info from Windows working driver?

Re: Need bluetooth driver of 6710b in Linux

I don't know about 6710b in particular, but some laptops with a RF killswitch are implementing the bluetooth transceiver as an integrated USB device. When the killswitch is operated, the transceiver is "virtually plugged/unplugged" so the OS cannot even detect it if it's disabled. The same switch can affect WLAN too, but the WLAN disabling may happen in a different way.

If the 6710b has a RF killswitch, toggle it and see if anything is detected after that.

After a reboot, the killswitch is likely to default to "disable RF" for maximum security.
