Need help integrating OB3.5 and Oracle 8i (SAP 4.6D)

I am trying to get OB3.5 to backup our Oracle 8i (SAP) files. The problem is the SAP instructions set the $ORACLE_HOME to /oracle//816_64 while the datafiles stay under /oracle/. Omniback doesn't seem to like that and since I can only have one path in the /etc/opt/omni/sap/oracle_home file the backups fail. Either OB can't find the executables when one path is set or it can't find the datafiles.

This might sound like a sill idea but how about creating a softlin in one of the directories i.e ln -s
Minimum effort maximum output!
