New HP with Vista: Battery issues - Specifically DV7
I know that Vista doesn't support power meters, or at least with a DV7 there is no battery meter.
Nor does the useful program Batterymon work in Vista - it doesn't recognise a battery is connected.
With my XP install I have Batterymon working now, my problem is the laptop has trouble charging past 99%. Full capacity is 4752 mWh, but according to Batterymon the laptop can't charge beyond 4705.
This is a brand new machine and i've only once inadvertently ran the battery down since purchase. Can anyone shed any light/experience?
