New NFS Tunables Patch

HP just released patch PHNE_38254 for 11i v2 systems. This patch automatically configures several ONC/NFS kernel tunable parameters to their optimal values. The tunables affected by this patch and their associated optimal values include:

nfs_async_read_avoidance_enabled=1
nfs_fine_grain_fs_lock=2
nfs_new_lock_code=1
nfs_new_rnode_lock_code=1
nfs_wakeup_one=2
nfs3_new_acache=1
nfs_exportfs_rwlock=1

These tunables, along with dozens of others, have existed on 11i v2 for some time, but this set of tunables are ones that HP always recommends enabling on any NFS system. These recommendations are documented in the current copy of the "Managing NFS and KRPC Kernel Configurations in HP-UX 11i v2" technical paper located here:

HP wanted to make it easier for our customers to optimally tune their systems so we created patch PHNE_38254 to simplify the process.
