No disk when installing RHEL4 on 380G5 with P400
When try to install the installation process can't find the logical disk configured in RAID 1.
I think is because the driver is not compatible, i try with the located at:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/storage/us/locate/1116_6255.html
but i have the same problem.
Any help are welcome!
thanks

Re: No disk when installing RHEL4 on 380G5 with P400
l have installed 3 such servers with RHEL (CentOS) 4.4, and the installs went fine after an initial challenge.
The first installs failed due to what l later found was bad DVD media.
Our server use the 400 card with 512 Meg cache utilizing RAID 6.
Check your media, and see if there is a later version of the install media you can use.
