Not able to connect to hpux maching using Exceed

Hello Everyone,

Am using Exceed to connect hpux server.I can able to connect server using my login id.But when i try from the application id am not able to do so.I've tried setting the same display variable there also .I've even compared the profile settings also .But there is no progress on that .Pls help me.

It does not say what happened when you did

This is what am trying to do .

I've started an xwindow session using EXCEED from my windows pc to hpux server (ssh).I able to start an xwindow session when i tried to login using my unix login id.
Windows pc ip:199.50.135.206
server ip:10.149.65.41
I did su - to other account.I did try starting xwindow from there after setting the display variable .But i was not able to do so.
Please let me know if you need more details.

With my weak psychic powers, I can't see what
was true "after setting the display
variable".

echo $DISPLAY

Hi

Exceed's a little more quirky than Reflection X, the X Emmulator that I prefer, but basically you start the 'X Server' application from your desktop, telnet to the unix box, set you DISPLAY variable to the ip address of you PC,

export DISPLAY=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:0.0

...Note the 0:0 at the end, this is needed.
