ORACLE AS10g
i ma trying to install oracle application sever 10g, when i start the installer i get an error message regarding JAVA, the attached file shows the start and the error, i checked my java version and find that i have java1.4.2
i think that i have something related to JAVA_PATH or the system PATH, any one can help please..

Can you please post the output of
"swlist -l bundle".
It seems like you're missing some Oracle relaated patches aswell.
What's the latest patch bundle you've on the server.

try this :
# whereis java
see where it point to , if you have install java 1.4.2 point the java.exe to the rigth place .

You appear to have java.
Make sure the JAVA_PATH is set prior to launching the Oracle installer.
All recommended Java patches from http://www.hp.com/go/java should be installed.
Do not skip any pre-requisites in the install guide.
